Ackerman, Sandra Kay (nee Mayfield)
DEMOTTE, Ind. -- Sandra Kay Ackerman, 57, of DeMotte died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006.
She was born Oct. 5, 1948, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Ernest and Beatrice Crites Mayfield.
Ackerman was employed at Lewis and Clark College as a custodian. She was a member of the DeMotte Christian Church.
Survivors include two daughters; Holly Bartholemew, Sherry Ackerman of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Don Mayfield, Bill Mayfield, Bob Mayfield, all of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Services were held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at DeMotte Christian Church, with David Buche officiating. Burial was in Holland Cemetery at DeMotte.
Boersma Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
