Adams, Delight Mary (nee Fadler)

Delight M. Adams, 89, died at 11:26 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, at McCune Brooks Hospital.

She was born Aug. 11, 1914 in Carthage to Thomas Melvin Brown and Mary Magdalene Fadler.

She was a homemaker and retired from Shoe Manufacturing in California. She was of the Methodist faith.

She married Edward L. Adams Jan. 8, 1938. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter, Pamela Minney of LaFayette, Calif.; a sister, Clarice Kelley of Houston, Texas; a sister-in-law, Verna Brown of Carthage; two grandsons, Kai Norton of Playa Del Rey, Calif.; and Taj Wakefield of Napa, Calif.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, J.W. "Dub" Brown, Raymond Brown; and one sister, Beulah Carter.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at Fasken Cemetery. Rev. Ralph Keller will officiate. Visitation is open.
