Aslinger, Nola Sanora (nee Tinnin)

PATTON, Mo. -- Nola Sanora Aslinger, 98, of Patton died Monday, May 12, 2003, at the home of a daughter in Jackson.

She was born Aug. 24, 1904, in Marquand, Mo., daughter of William Ferdinand and Cynthia Ann Barker Tinnin. She and Lester Earl Aslinger were married Nov. 3, 1928. He died Aug. 8, 1993.

Mrs. Aslinger was of the Methodist belief, and attended Union Light Church in Marquand.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Jean Aslinger of Cape Girardeau; two daughters and a son-in-law, Bonnie Smith of Jackson, Ann and Jerry Mungle of Patton; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and five great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, her twin sister, four other sisters including another set of twins, a brother, two half sisters, and a son-in-law,

Friends may call at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Mo., from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kevin Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Union Light Church Cemetery at Marquand.
