PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Margaret E. Bachmann, 103, of Perryville died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, at Independence Care Center of Perry County. She was born May 14, 1905, at Sereno, Mo., daughter of Ed and Louise Villhard Valleroy. She and Theodor M. Bachmann were married May 6, 1928. He died July 3, 1973...

A funeral will be held Saturday, November 8th, 2008 for 103-year-old Margaret E. Bachmann of Perryville, who died today, November 4th, at Independence Care Center of Perry County.
She was born May 14th, 1905 in Sereno, the daughter of Ed and Louise (Villhard) Valleroy who both preceded her in death.
She married Theodor M. Bachmann on May 6th, 1928. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by one daughter, Janet Feltz of Perryville; three sons and a daughter in law, Robert Bachmann of Lexington, Kentucky, Melvin Bachmann of St. Louis and Calvin and Lorna Bachmann of Perryville; a brother, Clarence Bachmann of Perryville; 15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Carl, Edgar, William "Brushy" and Gilbert Valleroy and a sister, Lillie Thieret.
She was a cook at Immanuel Lutheran School and a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, November 7th and 6:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday, November 8th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral for 103-year-old Margaret E. Bachmann of Perryville, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 8th at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Thomas Handrick will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran School Debt Reduction or radio broadcast.
