A funeral will be held Thursday, January 15th, 2015 for 84 year old Mildred Bachmann of Farrar, who died Sunday, January 11th, 2015 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born October 4th, 1930 in Perry County, the daughter of Ernst and Bertha (Luehrs) Mueller. They preceded her in death.
She and Vernon Bachmann were married on September 25th, 1949. He preceded her in death May 15th, 2007.
Survivors include six daughters and three sons; Kathryn (Willard) Fritsche of Farrar, Diane (Mark) Treasure of Los Angeles, CA, Karen Nolen of High Ridge, MO, Mary (Wayne A.) Koenig of Farrar, Mark (Melissa) Bachmann of Farrar, John (Kathryn) Bachmann of Perryville, Deborah Wallin of Normal, IL, Carolyn (John) Manno of Hazelwood, MO, Daniel (Renee) Bachmann of Perryville, four sisters and one brother; Oneida Mahnken of Steelville, IL, Elinor Roth of Perryville, Armin Mueller of Perryville, Eunice Roth of Frohna and Florence Steffens of Perryville, twenty nine grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons; Kenneth and James, one granddaughter; Lori, one son-in-law; Brad Nolen, three sisters and one brother; Erwin Mueller, Thekla Mueller, Esther Bachmann and Agnes Martin.
Mildred was a homemaker. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar.
Visitation will be held at the Young & Sons Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 14th, 2015 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 6:30 – 8:00 am.
The funeral for Mildred Bachmann of Farrar will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 15th, 2015 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown.
The Rev. Roger Abernathy will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Farrar.
Memorials are preferred for Salem Lutheran Church or Lutheran Hour Ministries.
