Bailey, Doris "BoBo" (nee McKinney)

Doris “BoBo” Bailey, 85, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Baptist Health Hospital in Little Rock. 

Doris was born on October 11, 1930 in Williford to the late Marion and Goldie Wilson McKinney. She lived all her life in Northeast Arkansas, and she attended South Caraway Baptist Church in Jonesboro. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting and quilting, and she always looked forward to the time spent with her family. The love she had for her family and all the sweet hugs she gave will be missed but never forgotten. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Donal Bailey; and a brother, Gene McKinney. 

She is survived by one son, James Don (Rhonda) Bailey of Trumann; three daughters, Cheryl (William) McMasters of Lunsford, Jewell Etta (Jim)Chastain and Patricia (Greg) Vincent both of Jonesboro; eight grandchildren, Autumn Eaves, Aaron(Lynette) Chastain, Bryan (Christi) McMasters, Tyler (Stacy)Bailey, Shelby (Kevin) Winford, Cory Chastain (Maggie Stepp), Jamie (Jordan) Rapert , Meredith Vincent (Kyle Kelly); twelve great grandchildren, Rylee Bailey, Maddy McMasters, Ryder Eaves, Will Cossey, Greenlee Eaves, Judd Chastain, Phoenix Kelly, Makenna Rapert, Hadlee Bailey, Luke Chastain, Kennedy McMasters, and Shanley Winford; four brothers, Doyle, Orland, James, and William McKinney; five sisters, Darlene Crabtree, Marlene Simmons, Sylvia Smith, Melba Wood, and Charolet Kinnel; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other friends and neighbors. 

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Don Martin and Danny Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Aaron Chastain, Bryan McMasters, Tyler Bailey, Cory Chastain, Jordan Rapert, Kyle Kelly, and Kevin Winford.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5-7pm at Emerson Funeral Home.
