Balsman, Anna Maudell (nee Lukefahr)
A funeral Mass will be celebrated held Tuesday, December 19th, 2006 for 87-year-old Anna Maudell Balsman of Perryville, who died today (Friday, December 15th, 2006) at Perry Oaks Manor.
She was born October 19th, 1919 in Perry County, the daughter of Theodore and Mary (Valleroy) Lukefahr. They preceded her in death.
She married Earl Balsman May 12th, 1945. He survives in Perryville.
She is survived by a daughter, Madonna Snelson of Broken Arrow, OK; a son, Roger Balsman of St. Louis; a brother, Melvin Lukefahr of Perryville.
Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
She worked for 30 years as a mailing clerk for the Association of the Miraculous Medal in Perryville, and was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Monday, December 18th, and from 6:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 19th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. The Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
A funeral Mass for 87-year-old Anna Maudell Balsman of Perryville will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 19th, 2006 at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
