Barker, Esther Lee (nee Nichols)
Esther Lee Barker, 64, of Jackson died Thursday, March 11, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 14, 1940, in Peyne, Ark., daughter of Dave and Mae Hart Nichols.
Survivors include four daughters, Denise Barker of Fredericktown, Mo., Debbie Seabaugh and Linda Seabaugh of Jackson, Sheila Jones of Oak Ridge; a son, Kenneth Barker of Pocahontas; three sisters, Betty Hutchinson of Dogwood, Mo., Genevieve Ray of East Prairie, Mo., Susan Wright of Mobile, Ala.; a brother, Murl Nichols of Portland, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Raymond McAfee officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
