Barks, Iva Isabelle (nee Drum)
Jackson - Mrs. Iva Barks, 85 years old, died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lynn Roberts at Daisy.
Mrs. Barks was born Feb. 19, 1879 at Daisy. She was the daughter of the late Marion and Sarah Hinkle Drum.
On Aug. 7, 1902, she was married to Jefferson Barks, who died June 24, 1950.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Roberts and Mrs. Gifford Hahs, both of Daisy, and Mrs. Elmer Zoellner of Friedheim, and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2, at the New Salem Methodist Church at Daisy, of which she was a lifelong member. The Rev. Loren Schorey (?) will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
