Barks, Wilbur L.

SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- William L. Barks, 76, of Sedgewickville died Friday, March 19, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 29, 1927, at Lixville, Mo. son of Lewis and Barbara Bohnert Barks. He and Goldie "Jean" Crabtree were married in May 1959.
Barks was a gravedigger and truck driver.
Survivors include his wife of St. Louis; two daughters, Diana Barks and Debbie Welker of Sedgewickville; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and six sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 6:30 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville, Mo.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Nancy Gillard officiating. Burial will be in Whitewater Presbyterian Cemetery.
