Baudendistel, Howard H.
PERRYVILLE, Mo. — Howard H. Baudendistel, 100, formerly of Perryville, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, at the Lutheran Convalescent Home in Webster Groves, Mo.
He was born Feb. 4, 1908, at Silver Lake, Mo., son of Lawrence and Anna Deitsch Baudendistel. He and Viola Bey were married Nov. 6, 1936. She died Nov. 10, 1969.
Baudendistel was a machine foreman at International Shoe Co. and also farmed. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville and the Holy Name Society.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Kreilich of St. Louis; two sisters, Rita Mullins and Anita Windle of St. Louis; three grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 to 9:50 a.m. Monday at Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Monday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Perryville. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
