Baugh, Lilly (nee Niblack)

Jackson, Dec. 20 - Mrs. Lilly Baugh, 66 years old, died suddenly of heart disease at 8:30 o'clock Wednesday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Irene Golightly, a mile west of Jackson.

The funeral service will be held Friday, with short rites at the Golightly home at 2 o'clock and public services at the Methodist church at 2:30, with the Rev. Isbell in charge. Interment will be in the old city cemetery.

Mrs. Baugh was born near Jackson, and was a member of the pioneer Niblick family. On Sept. 8, 1886, she was married to J. Albert Baugh, and the family lived in St.Marys, Dexter and other places. The husbands whereabouts are not known now. Mrs. Baugh later was an employee of Hotel Marshall at Sikeston, but recently had to give up work on account of heart ailment, and she returned here to make her home with her daughter.

Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Irene Golightly and Mrs. "Bud" Koehler, both living near here. Eighteen grand children and two great-grand children are also among the survivors.
