A funeral will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2015 for 99-year-old Orval C. Bellm of Biehle who died June 11, 2015 at his residence.
He was born Janaury 24, 1916 in Highland, Illinois, the son of Louis W. and Annie (Hammer) Bellm.
He married Alvera W. Sauer June 20, 1944. She preceded him in death on February 17, 2010.
He is survived by two sons and two daughters: Dennis (Peggy) Bellm of St. Louis, Marilyn Unterreiner of Perryville, Craig (Inez) Bellm of St. Louis and Janice (Mark) Deiermann of St. Louis; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a brother: Alvin and a sister: Irma Marti.
Orval retired from McDonnell-Douglas as an experimental mechanic.
He was a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle and Aerospace District 837 Retirement Club.
He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of WW II.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2015 and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral mass for 99-year-old Orval C. Bellm of Biehle will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle. The Rev. Jim French will officiate.
Burial will be in the church cemetery with military graveside services provided by the American Legion and the Delta Team.
Memorials are preferred to St. Maurus Building Fund.
