Bergman, Jeanette Margret (nee Koch)

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Jeanette Margret Bergman, 84, of Perryville died Sunday, April 8, 2012, at Independence Care Center in Perryville.

She was born March 6, 1928, in New Wells, to Theodore Gottfried Koch and Margaretha Emilie Hemmann Koch. She married Kenneth R. Bergman on July 15, 1950, at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in St. Louis.

Jeanette was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth R. Bergman of Perryville; a sister, Elsie (Wilbert) Schuessler of Perryville; nephews, Edward, Marvin and Delbert Meinz, and Keith Schuessler; nieces, Karen Bronenkant, Carol Lorenz and Gail Weinkein; great-nephews Scott and Greg Bronenkant; and others.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Hilda Meinz and Louise Boehme; and one brother, Albert "Joe" Koch.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to time of service Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. Thomas Handrick officiating. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.

Memorials are suggested to the Immanuel Lutheran School.

A funeral will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2012 for 84-year-old Jeanette Margret Bergman of Perryville who died April 8, 2012 at the Independence Care Center in Perryville.

She was born March 6, 1928 at New Wells, the daughter of Theodore Gottfried Koch and Margaretha Emilie Hemmann Koch who both preceded her in death.

She married Kenneth R. Bergman on July 15, 1950 at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in St. Louis. He survives in Perryville.

She is survived by a sister: Elsie (Wilbert) Schuessler of Perryville; four nephews: Edward, Marvin, and Delbert Meinz, and Keith Schuessler; three nieces: Karen Bronenkant, Carol Lorenz and Gail Weinkein; two great nephews: Scott and Greg Bronenkant and others.

Entombment will be in the Memorial Park Mausoleum, Cape Girardeau
