Berkbuegler, Kacey Marie
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Kacey M. Berkbuegler, 18, of Perryville passed away Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at St. Louis Children's Hospital after a battle with Hodgkin's.
She was born Nov. 29, 1995, in Perryville, daughter of Duane and Mary Kirn Berkbuegler of Perryville.
Kacey was a senior at St. Vincent High School. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, National Honor Society, 4-H, Drama Club and Spanish Club and was a team member of Luke 18.
Survivors include paternal grandfather, Melvin Berkbuegler; maternal grandmother, Marcella Kirn, both of Perryville; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Arly Berkbuegler; and maternal grandfather, Edwin L. Kirn.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Church. The Catholic wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, with an all-night vigil following.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Young and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials are preferred to Kacey Berkbuegler Elementary Student Scholarship Fund at St. Vincent School.

She was born November 29, 1995 in Perryville, MO, daughter of Duane and Mary (Kirn) Berkbuegler of Perryville.

She was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandmother Arly Berkbuegler and Maternal Grandfather Edwin L. Kirn.
Visitation will be at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Sunday, December 1 from 3:00 – 8:00 pm with a Catholic Wake at 7:00 pm. An all-night vigil will follow visitation on Sunday.
Visitation will continue Monday from 6:30 am until the time of Mass at 10:00 am.
