A funeral service will be held Monday, February 26th, 2001 for 75-year-old Cleora C. Blair of Perryville, who died Thursday, February 22nd at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born October 22nd, 1925 in Perryville, the daughter of Frank J. and Minnie C. Zoellner Pingel. Both preceded in death.

She married Howard L. Blair on May 29th, 1948 at Biehle. He also preceded in death.

She is survived by three daughters: Joyce Reitzel of Perryville, JoAnn Graham of Baton Rouge, LA and Suzanne Nuyt of Perryville. Two sons: Michael Blair of Perryville and Thomas Blair of Westchester, PA.

She is also survived by two brothers and one sister: James Pingel of St. Louis and Allen Pingel of Perryville, and Virginia Winschel of Perryville.

Nine grandchildren and two step-grandchildren also survive.

She was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

She worked for 15 years as Cafeteria Manager at St. Vincent de Paul School before retiring.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She was very active in the Ladies Sodality and was instrumental in organizing quilt committees for the annual Seminary Picnic. She also provided many of the quilts.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 25th from 5-9 p.m. and on Monday, February 26th from 6:30 - 9:50 a.m. at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A Parish Wake with the Ladies Sodality will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday. The Rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

A funeral mass for 75-year-old Cleora C. Blair of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 26th at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Reverend Kevin P. Fausz, C.M. officiating. Burial in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul School or the Garden of Hope Oncology Department.
