CAIRO, Ill. -- Virginia M. Blaylock, 58, of Rocky Ridge, Mo., died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City, Mo.

She was born Jan. 20, 1943, in Cairo, daughter of Harry George and Flora Marie O'Donnell French. She married Richard D. Blaylock.

Formerly of Festus, Mo., Blaylock was director of JMH Skilled Nursing Facility. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Festus-Crystal City, Order of Eastern Star 417, and past president of PEO Chapter EH.

Survivors include her husband of Ste. Genevieve; three daughters, Melanie Robinson of Festus, Elizabeth Boeckstiegel and Danielle Parnell of Bloomsdale, Mo.; a sister, Carol Reimann of Cape Girardeau; and three grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral was held Jan. 16 at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus. The Rev. Margie Woods officiated. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
