PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Edgar J. Blechle, 76, of Perryville died Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at his home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be at 5 p.m. today. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Thursday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church at Apple Creek, Mo. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery at Apple Creek.

A funeral will be held Thursday, August 16, 2012 for 76-year-old Edgar J. Blechle of Old Appleton who died Monday, August 13th, 2012 at his home.

He was born October 13, 1935 in Perryville, the son of Henry Blechle and Lucille Buchheit Blechle who both preceded him in death.

She married Shirley Ann Favier on Sept. 6, 1958 at Perryville. She survives in Old Appleton.

He is also survived by three daughters: Barb (Daniel) Miller of Old Appleton, Linda (James) Stewart of Jackson and Joanna (Dale) Neuman of Old Appleton; a son: Michael (Tina) Blechle of Oak Ridge; three brothers: John (Shirley) Blechle of Perryville, Paul (Imogene) Blechle of St. Mary and James (Clara) Blechle of Old Appleton; a sister: Pat ( Russell) Schumer of Old Appleton; a sister: Louise Blechle; seven grandchildren and nine great grand children.

He was also preceded in death by one brother: Henry Blechle.

He worked at Bilt-Best Windows.

He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church-Apple Creek.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, August 15 and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish prayers will be said at 5 p.m.

The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.

A funeral mass for 76-year-old Edgar J. Blechle of Old Appleton will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek. The Rev. Tony Dattilo will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Apple Creek.

Memorials may be made to family choice.
