BOURBON MARINE KILLED IN VIETNAM:
Capt. Carl E. Bockewitz, 28 years old, attended Sullivan High School and the University of Missouri. Before graduating from Southwest Missouri State College at Springfield,Mo. he served a year and a half on the St. Louis police force. He lived at Bourbon, MO., before entering service. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Rosetta Bohnenkamp, a brother, William Paul Bockewitz; his stepfather, Wilbur Bohnenkamp; a half-sister, Peggy Sue Bohnenkamp, and a half-brother, William Douglas Bohnenkamp, all of Bourbon.
