Bohnenkamp, Anna Lena (nee Herrmann)
Anna Lena Bohnenkamp was born to the union of Louis Herrmann and Mary Reisel Herrmann at St. Louis, on March 8, 1896. In July of 1939, she was united in marrige to Fred Bohnenkamp at Bourbon, Missouri.
Anna was a long time member of the United Methodist Church of Bourbon as well as a member of the Methodist W.S.C.S. Group.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, in 1965 and her sister, Edna Schebaum in 1978. On Friday, January 12, 1979, at the Regional Hospital in Columbia, she passed away after a full life of 82 years.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are: one brother-in-law, August Schebaum; her nieces and nephews, Maxine and Dale Schatz, Lucille and Norris Koelling, Ralph and Dorothy Schebaum and John and Frances Schebaum; other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
Funeral services for Anna Bohnenkamp were at 1 p.m. Monday, January 15 from the Unied Methodist Church of Bourbon, with Dr. G. A. Galloway officiating. Interment followed in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Sullivan, with the Great Nephews serving as casket bearers. All arrangements were under the care of the Hoener Funeral Home of Bourbon, Missouri.
