Bollinger, Alene Ruth (nee Schreiner)
Alene Ruth Bollinger, 93, of Jackson died Sunday, June 28, 2009, at Jackson Manor.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to service time Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Corbin officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Alene Ruth Bollinger, 93, of Jackson passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Jackson Manor.
She was born January 22, 1916 near Oak Ridge, Mo., daughter of Irvin and Clara Wilkening Schreiner. She and Raymond Gifford Bollinger were married September 20, 1936. He passed away December 4, 1986.
Alene and Raymond farmed near Oak Ridge and moved to Jackson in 1959. She was a member of the New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson and a UMW at New McKendree.
Loving survivors include a son, Rev. Ronald Bollinger of St. Louis, Mo.; four daughters, Bonita Lang of Aviston, IL; Nancy Mitchell of Mountain Grove, MO.; Clara Friese of Jackson, MO.; Dr. Ruth Sugonis in Kenova, West Virginia; two brothers, Donald Schreiner of Detroit, Michigan; and Jerry Schreiner of Oak Ridge, MO.
Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Schreiner; two brothers, Harold and Roger Schreiner; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call Wednesday, July 1, 2009 from 12:30PM until service time at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at 1:30 PM, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Corbin officiating.
Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Memorials may be made to Old McKendree Chapel or New McKendree United Methodist Women.
