Bollinger, Billy Dean

Billy Dean Bollinger, 85, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

He was born June 16, 1930 in Sedgewickville, MO to Renzo Joy and Tora Rubena Friese Bollinger.

He and Martha Lou Hahs were married November 6, 1948 at Piggott, Arkansas.

He was a member of Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Church, and Excelsior Lodge #441 AF&AM where he earned his 50 year pin.

Billy worked as superintendent for the Water Waste Facilities in both Jackson and Cape Girardeau for several years before retirement. He previously worked for Mildes Coca-Cola in Jackson, and the Missouri State Highway Department.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Lou Hahs Bollinger of Cape Girardeau, MO; son, Terry (Cheryl) Bollinger of Fruitland, MO; daughters, Judy (Ron) Biester of Cape Girardeau, MO, Robin McKelvey of Fredericktown, MO; grandchildren, Matthew (Katy) Bollinger of Marble Hill, MO and Brandon McKelvey, of WA; great grandchildren, Shelby Bollinger and Rylee Bollinger, of Marble Hill, MO, Emma Willis of Leadwood, MO and Bowen Lee, of Fredericktown, MO; sister-in-law, Ola Bollinger of Jackson, MO; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bobby J. Bollinger; son-in-law, Steve McKelvey.

The family wishes to express their heart-felt gratitude and appreciation for the care Billy received at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Ford and Sons Funeral Home-Jackson. Masonic Service will be at 7:00 p.m. Sunday provided by Lodge #441 AF&AM.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 26, 2015 at the Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Janet Hopkins officiating.

Burial will be at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorial contributions may be given to Charity or Organization of choice.
