Boothe, Joseph Henry
PATTON, Mo. -- Joseph Henry Boothe, 85, of Patton passed away Monday, March 23, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born Jan. 8, 1930, in Rocky Gap, Virginia, son of William E. and Lillian S. Richardson Boothe. He and Dottie Lee Kirkpatrick were married Nov. 15, 1963. She passed away Sept. 5, 2013.
Joseph was a carpenter.
He served in the United States Navy during World War II.
Survivors include three sons, Clay Dean Boothe of Illinois, Billy Boothe of Marble Hill, Missouri, and John Boothe of Patton; four daughters, Marlene Smith of Patton, Darlene Broshuis of Marble Hill, Arlene Eldridge of Jackson and Jolene Moll of Perryville, Missouri; 21 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; two sons, James Russell and Russell Dean Boothe; a brother, David Boothe; and a sister, Virginia Stinson.
Visitation will be Thursday after 11 a.m. at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.
The funeral will be Thursday at noon at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Interment will be in Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill.
