PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Letha M. Brewer, 82, of Perryville died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010, at Independence Care Center in Perryville.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at Miller Family Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno, Mo. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.

A funeral will be held Monday, August 23rd, 2010 for 82-year-old Letha M. Brewer of Perryville who died Thursday, August 19th at Independence Care Center in Perryville.

She was born March 3, 1928 at Crain’s Island, Illinois, the daughter of Leon and Getty Griffith Moranville who both preceded her in death.

She married Wilbert Brewer on Oct. 8, 1949 at Perryville. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by three sons: Michael, Donald and Neil Brewer all of Perryville; three daughters: Sharon Parks and Denise Taylor of Perryville and Renee Naeger of Brookhaven, Mississippi, 12 grandchildren, 16 greatgrandchildren, two step grandsons, and five step greatgrandchildren; and three sisters: Elsie Turner and Lena Esselman both of Chester and Hazel Manche of Perryville.

She was also preceded in death by six brothers, one sister and one grandson: Dustin Meyer.

She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno.

She had worked at International Shoe Company.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday, August 22 and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Monday, August 23rd at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

A funeral mass for 82-year-old Letha M. Brewer of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 23rd at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno. The Rev. Jerome Fortenberry, CM will officiate.

Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
