Brewer, Wilbert Joseph
A funeral service will be held Friday, May 14th,1999 for 71-year-old Wilbert J. "Wib" Brewer who died Tuesday, May 11th, 1999 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born November 24th, 1927 in Perry County, the son of Edgar Brewer who preceded in death and Clorcie (Wingerter) Brewer who survives in Perryville.
He married Letha M. Moranville on October 8th, 1949 in Perryville. She survives in Perryville.
Three daughters also survive him: Sharon Parks of Gouldsboro, Penn.; Denise Taylor of Perryville; and Renee Naeger of Meridien, Miss.
Three sons also survive: Michael J. Brewer, Don J. Brewer and Neil P. Brewer, all of Perryville.
One brother also survives him: Earl Brewer of Perryville.
Two sisters also survive: Dolores Buchheit and Wanda Berkbigler, both of Perryville.
12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive him.
Two brothers, and a grandson also preceded him in death.
He had been a farmer.
He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Thursday at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish wake will be held at 8 p.m.
Visitation will also be from 6:30-9:30 a.m. Friday with the Rosary at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
A funeral service for 71-year-old Wilbert J. "Wib" Brewer will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 14, 1999 at the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Francis Agnew will officiate.
