Brinkman, Norma A. (nee Voelker)
Norma A. Brinkman, 78, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born June 12, 1924, in Perry County, daughter of Henry and Louise Moore Voelker. She and Vernon "Jack" Brinkman were married Sept. 17, 1943.
Brinkman had been a clerk at Cooper's Men's Wear. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, Mo., and then at St. Vincent's in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, John Brinkman of Jackson, Craig Brinkman of Sikeston; a daughter, Brenda Crain of Jackson; a brother, Chalmer Voelker of Perryville; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Thursday.
Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Perryville. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
