Brotherton, Lona F. (nee Harper)
PATTON, Mo. -- Lona F. Brotherton, 81, of Patton died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, at Elder Care in Marble Hill, Mo.
She was born Feb. 25, 1923, at Patton, daughter of Jesse C. and Bertha Tinnin Harper. She and Rayford P. Brotherton were married June 6, 1944, in Alexandria, La. He died Jan. 27, 1991.
Brotherton retired from Brown Shoe Co. in Fredericktown, Mo. She was a member of Post Oak Congregational Methodist Church and Patton Happy Old People Club.
Survivors include a son, Keith Brotherton of Marble Hill; two brothers, Bob Harper of Potosi, Mo., Cecil Harper of Fredericktown; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Post Oak Cemetery near Patton.
