Brown, Caroline Nancy (nee Stevens)
MRS. BROWN FOLLOWS SISTER IN DEATH
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Mt. Zion Church near Scopus for Mrs. Caroline
Brown, 82 years old, who died Monday at her farm home near Scopus after an illness of long
duration caused from the infirmities of her advanced years.
She was the widow of David Brown, who passed away several years ago.
She is survived by five children, Tom, Lee, John and Asa Brown of Scopus and Mrs. Essie Mungle, who lived with her mother. She also leaves two brothers, Pink and Asa Stevens, of Scopus and one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Burton, of Marble Hill.
Another sister, Mrs. Mary Jane Strong, passed away last week at her home in Lutesville and was buried Friday morning in the Mt. Zion Church cemetery.
