Brown, Jerry Wayne
MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Jerry Wayne Brown, 74, of Marble Hill passed away Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, at his home.
He was born April 26, 1940, at Scopus, Missouri, son of Johnny and Delphia Douglas Brown. He and Euva Mae Shell were married March 4, 1961, at Marble Hill. She passed away July 6, 2013.
Jerry was a machine operator with James River Corp. in St. Louis. He attended Marble Hill Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Kenny (Mary) Brown of St. Charles, Missouri; a daughter, Stephanie (Dan) Shaw of Marble Hill; a sister, Naola Faye (Glenn) Mayfield of Jackson; eight grandchildren, Catherine, Jonathan, Renee, Devon, Michelle, Zachary, Carissa and Deanna; and a great-granddaughter, Haylee.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jeffrey Brown; an infant brother; and a sister, Shirley.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Fulbright officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery near Scopus.
