A funeral will be held Friday, April 17, 2015 for 87-year-old Nelda Lee Brown of St. Louis, formerly of Perryville, who died April 13, 2015 at Bethesda Dilworth in St. Louis.
She was born November 6, 1927 in Lithium, the daughter of Harold A. and Sophia (Lorenz) Graff who both preceded her in death.
She married Delmar W. Brown May 29, 1948. He preceded her in death on October 23, 1992.
She is survived by two daughters: Cheryl (Jim) Funk of Locust Grove, Virginia and Debra Brown-Brinegar of Crestwood; a brother: Dennis Graff of Farmington; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, and three sisters.
Lee had worked as a secretary for an insurance company.
She was a member of the Methodist Church, Eastern Star, Quilter’s Guild, and Telephone Pioneers.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015 and 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2015 at the Young & Sons Funeral Home.
A funeral for 87-year-old Nelda Lee Brown of St. Louis will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2015 at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville with the Rev. David Duncan officiating.
Burial will be in the Home Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to the Missouri Baptist Cancer Center or to the American Cancer Society
