Brucker, Otto Celestine
CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Otto Celestine Brucker, 86, of Chaffee died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002, at his home.
He was born March 17, 1916, at Oran, Mo., son of Michael and Emma Scheeter Brucker. He and Zita Josephine Heuring were married Oct. 17, 1945, at Kelso, Mo. She died March 20, 1991.
Brucker was a machine operator at Florsheim Shoe Co. and also farmed. He moved to Chaffee 14 years ago from New Hamburg, Mo.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include two sons, Mike Brucker of Tampa, Fla., Tom Brucker of Rockford, Mich.; two daughters, Gerri Powell and Marilyn Burford of Benton, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery at New Hamburg.
