Buchheit, Loraine A. (nee Wibbenmeyer)
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Loraine A. Buchheit, 92, of Perryville died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at Independence Care Center.
She was born Sept. 13, 1917, at Old Appleton, daughter of Louis and Louise Meyer Wibbenmeyer. She and Leander Buchheit were married Nov. 25, 1937, at Apple Creek, Mo. He preceded her in death.
Buchheit was a clerk 30 years at Appleton Mercantile Co. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Apple Creek, its Ladies Sodality, and served on the Shrine Committee.
Survivors include a son, Ken Buchheit of Marquand, Mo.; a daughter, Eileen Christian of St. Louis; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Petty Menderski of St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and six sisters.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael's Cemetery at Apple Creek, with the Rev. Tony Dattilo officiating.
