Buehler, Bertha Addie (nee Davis)
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Bertha Addie Buehler, 78, of Perryville died Thursday, May 30, 2002, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 30, 1924, at Wittenberg, Mo., daughter of William and Hilda Bohnert Davis. She first married Hosea Cairns Sr. May 22, 1942. He died May 19, 1959. She and Joseph Buehler were married Sept. 16, 1961. He died Jan. 21, 1985.
Buehler was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include four sons, William and Charles Cairns and Terry Buehler of Perryville, Donald Cairns of Friedheim, Mo.; five daughters, Donna Heise of Whitewater, Mo., Bonnie Starr of Centralia, Ill., Mary Hornberger and Patricia Mattingly of Perryville and Helen Gwin of Oak Ridge, Mo.
Also surviving is her mother of Perryville; a brother, Earl Davis of Perryville; two sisters, Dorothy Renner and Buelah Weisbrod of Perryville; 24 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, a son, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. The wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. Joe Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
