Buerck, Marion C.
A funeral will be held Tuesday, July 18th, 2006 for 84-year-old Marion C. Buerck of Perryville, who died Saturday, July 15th at the Perry County Nursing Home.
He was born September 21st, 1921 in Menfro, the son of Oscar and Gertrude (Hogard) Buerck, who both preceded him in death.
He married Mildred Regelsperger on April 7th, 1945. She survives in Perryville.
He is also survived by three sons and two daughters in law: Stephen and Brenda Buerck of Perryville; Charles Buerck of Farmington; and John and Judy Buerck of Smithton, Illinois; two daughters and sons in law, Barbra and Richard Ernst and Jacqueline and Robert Schumer, all of Perryyville; two brothers: Earl Buerck of Cape Girardeau and Leon Buerck of the state of Ohio; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a son: James Buerck; a sister, Loretta Hoffman; and a brother, Clyde Buerck.
He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, Holy Name Society, life member of VFW Post No. 4282 and former member of American Legion Post No. 133. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. this (Monday, July 17th) evening and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 18th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
A parish wake will be held this (Monday, July 17th) evening at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
A funeral for 84-year-old Marion C. Buerck of Perryville will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 18th. The Rev. Kevin Fausz CM will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church of school system.
