Burlison, Kelly, Alan, Dr.
FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- Dr. Kelly Alan Burlison, 58, of Fredericktown, passed away Monday, June 17, 2013, in St. Louis.
He was born May 11, 1955, in St. Louis, son of Harold Eugene and Kay Irwin Burlison.
Burlison was a member of First Baptist Church in Fredericktown. He was a devoted educator and was superintendent of Fredericktown School District the past several years.
Survivors include his mother, Kay Burlison of Perkins, Mo.; his wife, Candyce Myers Burlison, to whom he was married June 18, 1983; a son, Mark (Rachel) Burlison of Columbia, Mo.; a daughter, Sarah Burlison of Fredericktown; a brother, Mickey Lynn (Libby) Burlison of Perkins; a sister, Kristi (Tom) Mathis of St. Peters, Mo.; nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Burlison.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at Fredericktown Middle School.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Fredericktown, with Tom Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Williams Cemetery at Perkins.
