Ethel Chamberlain, 81, of Fredericktown passed away August 30, 1993, at St. Francois Hospital in Cape Girardeau.  She was born April 29, 1912, in Whitewater, Missouri, to Argie T. and Rose Barks Statler.

Her parents preceded her in death along with a brother, Leo Statler; first husband, Edgar Kaiser, whom she married December 24, 1930.  He passed away November 6, 1962.

She married Edgar Chamberlain June 6, 1973.  He survives her death along with one daughter Katherine Whitener of Fredericktown; one brother, Elmer Statler of Sequim, Washington; two sisters, Alma Clauser of Fredericktown and Pearl Montgomery of DeSoto; three step children, Elvis Chamberlain, Ruth Hahn of Farmington adn Mary Porter of Cape Girardeau; 5 step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.

Mrs. Chamberlain was a member of the Cedar Bottom General Baptist Chruch and Knob Lick Church of God.

Services were held September 2, 1993 at Wilson Funeral Home.  Burial was held at Marcus Memorial Park with the Rev. Donn Adamson officiating.
