PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Larry W. Christisen, 71, of Perryville died Monday, April 30, 2012, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville and from 6:30 a.m. until time of service Friday in the funeral home chapel.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel.
Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

A funeral will be held Friday, May 4, 2012 for 71-year-old Larry W. Christisen of Perryville, who died April 30, 2012 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born August 30, 1940 in Perry County, the son of Ludwig William Christisen who preceded him in death and Evelyn (Schremp) Schubert who survives in Perryville.
He married Linda Sue Jiles on January 9, 1960 in Perryville. She survives in Perryville.
He is also survived by a son: William Dale Christisen of Perryville and a daughter: Barbara and (Terry) Buehler of Perryville; two grandchildren: Elisha Schott (fiancée’ Adam Meier) of Perryville and Lindsey Christisen of Perryville; two great-grandchildren: Eli Graham Schott and Taylor Riney, both of Perryville; five brothers: David Christisen of the state of Iowa; Merlin, Theodore, and Allen Christisen of Perryville; and Roy Christisen of St. Mary; and six sisters: Loretta Wood, Norma Schumer, Patricia Torbert, Terri Emmendorfer, and Donna Mahnken all of Perryville; and Judy Fry of St. Louis.
He was also preceded in death by his step father, three brothers: Robert, Kenny, and Ronnie; and one sister: Carolyn Grindstaff
Larry retired from General Motors in Wentzville after more than 26 years of service on February 1, 1993.
He also retired from Gilster-Mary Lee Corporation after six years of service on July 9, 2010.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, May 3rd and 6:30-10 a.m. Friday, May 4th at the Miller Family Funeral Home.
A funeral for 71-year-old Larry W. Christisen of Perryville will be held at 10:00am Friday, May 4, 2012 in the Miller Family Chapel. Bro. John Chamness will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
