Cissell, Kenneth L.

PERRYVILLE, Mo. — Kenneth L. Cissell, 53, of Perryville died Sunday, April 27, 2008, in Perry County.

He was born Nov. 9, 1954, in Perry County, son of Claude and Pearl Doll Cissell.

Cissell was a farmer. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at Silver Lake, Mo.

Survivors include his mother of Perryville; a brother, Claude Cissell of Perryville; and a sister, Lorene Blessing of Imperial, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 6:30 to 9:20 a.m. Wednesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The wake will be at 7 p.m. today.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Rose of Lima Church, with the Rev. Alphonse Hoernig officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, April 30th, 2008 for 53-year-old Kenneth Cissell of Perryville, who died Sunday, April 27th, 2008 in Perry County.

He was born November 9th, 1954 in Perry County, the son of Claude and Pearl (Doll) Cissell. Pearl Cissell survives in Perryville.

He is survived by a brother and sister in law, Claude and Nancy Cissell of Perryville; sister and brother in law, Lorene and Francis Blessing of Imperial; two sisters in law, Dorothy Cissell and Ann Cissell, both of Perryville; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Robert Cissell and Joseph Cissell.

He was a farmer, and a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Silver Lake.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 29th, and from 6:30-9:20 a.m. Wednesday, April 30th at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. A Catholic Wake begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Chapel.

Funeral Mass for 53-year-old Kenneth Cissell of Perryville will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 30th, 2008 at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. The Rev. Alphonse Hoernig will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
