Clauser, Oscar Herman
Funeral services were held on Sunday, November 15, 1987 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Oscar Herman Clauser, who died on November 11 at the Madison Memorial Hospital. A retired farmer and carpenter, he was 79.
The Rev. Lee Smith officiated at the service and burial was in Marcus Memorial Park.
Mr. Clauser was born on June 5, 1908 in Madison County to the late Fred C. and Margaret (Mouser) Clauser. He married Alma Statler on October 3, 1936 in Oronton. She survives.
Other survivors include a sister, Ethel Brewington, a resident of Stockhoff Nursing Home, Fredericktown.
Preceding Mr. Clauser in death were a brother, Samuel Clauser and a sister, Mabel Maze.
He was a member of Cobalt Village General Baptist Church.
Pallbearers were Harry Maze, Lindell Dowd, Jim Stinnett, Alvah Montgomery, Steve Golic and Tom Burns.
