Clements, Wilbert

BIEHLE, Mo. -- Wilbert Clements, 84, of Biehle died Tuesday, May 3, 2005, at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born April 4, 1921, in Bollinger County, Mo., son of Louis H. and Elizabeth Werth Clements. He and Thelma C. "Tooty" Buerck were married May 26, 1951. She died Oct. 6, 1984.

Clements was a carpenter and farmer. He was a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church.

Survivors include four sons, Larry Clements of Villa Ridge, Mo., Randy and Terry Clements of Perryville, Mo., James Clements of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; five daughters, Margery Winschel and Cindy Pecaut of Perryville, Peggy Yamnitz of Bloomsdale, Mo., Cathy Boyd of Jackson, Carol Kuhlmann of Marquand, Mo.; a brother, Kellie Clements of Perryville; a sister, Mae Propst of Sedgewickville, Mo.; 24 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers, four sisters and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30 to 10:15 a.m. The wake will be at 6 p.m. today. The rosary will be recited at 9:15 a.m. Friday.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Maurus Church, with the Revs. Kevin Fausz, Mark Bozada and Tony Dattilo officiating. Burial will be in St. Maurus Cemetery.
