Clifton, Jessie Murriel (nee Eaker)
ORAN, Mo. -- Jessie M. Clifton, 73, of Oran died Thursday, April 20, 2006, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 14, 1932, in the former Lutesville, Mo., daughter of Charles and Ina Proffer Eaker. She and Wilford Clifton were married March 10, 1951.
Clifton had worked at Deevers Shoe Co. and was a member of Advance Full Gospel Assembly.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Randy Clifton of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Wanda Jeka of Whitehall, Mont., Rosa Gerken of Twin Lakes, Wis.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and three sisters.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Mo., from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. J.D. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery at Dongola, Mo.
