Conrad, Margaret Virginia (nee Parks)
Margaret Virginia Conrad, 89, of Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at Life Care Centers of Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 15, 1923, in Cape Girardeau to Issac and Lucy L. Davis Parks.
She and Dean D. Conrad were married July 30, 1949. He died March 13, 1999.
She graduated from Sikeston High School.
Margaret was a homemaker who enjoyed being with her family.
Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Faries of Cape Girardeau; four granddaughters, Deana (Roy) Heise of Cape Girardeau; Christina (Jim) Vetter of Benton, Mo., Emily Rhodes of Cape Girardeau and Mandy (Shawn) Retherford of Cape Girardeau; a grandson, Patrick W. Webb of Cairo, Ill.; great-grandchildren Michael and Christopher Heise, Brady and Caleb Vetter, Micah Boyd, Kamdyn Rhodes, Kelby and Bryson Thomas, Cole Retherford and Riley Webb.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and granddaughter, Joanna Webb.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ford & Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Chapel.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Frank Burgess officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
