Cook, Geraldine A. "Mammy" (nee Kirkpatrick)
MARBLE HILL, Mo. — Geraldine "Mammy" Cook, 79, of Marble Hill died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, at her home.
She was born Oct. 19, 1929, daughter of Marvin and Lillie Pulliam Kirkpatrick. She and Clyde Cook were married Feb. 20, 1948, in Patton, Mo. He died April 18, 2008.
Cook was a member of Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Ronnie Cook of Marble Hill; a daughter, Ruberta Hanners of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, James Kirkpatrick of Marble Hill, Junior Kirkpatrick of Vanduser, Mo.; two sisters, Dorothy Welker of Benton, Mo., Kathy Kirkpatrick of St. Petersburg, Fla.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Jim Fulbright and Steven Sander officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill.
