Cook, Shirley Ann (nee Jones)
Shirley Ann Cook, 62, of Millersville died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, at her home. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. today at Pulliam Cemetery near Scopus, Missouri. Burial will follow.

Shirley Ann Cook Was born into earthly life on April 5, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, Mo. She was the daughter of Lynn Vance Jones and Dorothy Ruch Jones. She was born into eternal life on August 20, 2014, at her daughter’s home in Millersville, Mo. She was 62 years, four months, and 15 days of age.
In 1969 she married Larry Wayne Cook in Scopus Mo. To their union one child was born: a daughter Teresa (Jeff) Lukefahr, of Millersville Mo. For several years Shirley worked at the Hat Factory in Marble Hill but caring for her home and family mattered most. She loved her family and was ever so excited when Teresa presented the family with a grandson, Alex Lukefahr. She enjoyed her membership at Fellowship Baptist Church, and Teresa and Jeff joined her there.
Larry preceded her in death on Nov. 11, 2012. She is survived by Teresa, Jeff and Alex; her brothers: Darrel Jones of Jackson, Mo., Mitchell Jones of Arnold, Mo., Gary Jones of Barnhart, Mo., and Joe Jones of Indiana; and her sisters: Martha Bowers of Jackson, Betty Jones of California, and a half sister, Linda Dowd, of Chaffee, Mo. Her parents and two brothers, Terry Jones and Richard Ruch, predeceased her.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at Pulliam Cemetery near Patton, Mo., at 11:00 A.M.
