Cooper, Vera
Vera Cooper, 73, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at Life Care Center.
She was born March 12, 1940, in New Madrid, Mo., to Pete and Ruth Cooper.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Blakemore and Pam Hotze of St. Louis, a brother, James Cooper of Cape Girardeau; a dear friend, Julie Rhodes of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She expressed her loving appreciation for the support of the entire Cooper family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John and Pete.
Family and friends may gather from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Crain Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Janet Hopkins officiating. Interment will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
