Courtois, Frances W. (nee Unterreiner)
Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 3, 2001 for 88-year-old Frances W. Courtois of Perryville who died Sunday at Barnes Extended Care in Clayton.
She was born on Dec. 25, 1912 in Biehle, the daughter of the late Frank Unterreiner and Theresa Kirn Unterreiner.
She was married to Albert J. Courtois. He preceded her in death in 1975.
Children surviving are Ed Courtois of Florissant; bob Courtois of Silver Lake; Mary Hunt of Hillsboro; and Patricia Gormley of St. Louis.
One brother, Raymond Unterreiner, survives in Brewer, and one sister, Lorena Horschman, survives in Perryville.
Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Mrs. Courtois worked at International Shoe Company. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and the Western Catholic Union.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-9 p.m. at the Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish Prayers with the D of I will be 7:30 pm. Visitation will also be Thursday from 6:30-9:50 a.m.. The rosary will be recited Thursday at 9 a.m.
Funeral Mass for 88-year-old Frances W. Courtois will be held Thursday, May 3, 2001 at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Kevin P. Fausz C.M. will officiate. Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association of St. Louis.
