Dambach, Dorothy (nee Baird)
Dorothy Baird Dambach, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Aug. 14, 1924, in Clarkton, Mo., to Walter and Lillian Waltrip Baird. She and Bob Dambach were married Feb. 13, 1997. He preceded her in death Feb. 19, 2008.
Dorothy was a member of Red Star Baptist Church. She worked at J.C. Penney in Cape Girardeau.
She is survived by a brother, Van Baird; and a sister, Ivena Walker, both of Waterford, Mich.; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother, and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Tuesday at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Red Star Baptist Church, and will be accepted at the funeral home.
