Dannenmueller, Dorothy "Dot" (nee Davis)
CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Dorothy "Dot" Dannen-mueller, 74, of Chaffee passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, at the family home.
She was born on Oct. 26, 1938, in Cape Girardeau to the late John Lewis and Irene Jones Davis.
She married Robert L. Dannenmueller on May 17, 1958, and he preceded her in death Dec. 11, 1992.
Dorothy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chaffee.
Dorothy owned and operated Dot's Flower Shop in Chaffee several years. She retired as a cook for Saxony Village in Cape Girardeau after working 10 years.
Survivors include three sons, David (Shelley) Dannenmueller of Carterville, Ill., Kevin "Possum" Dannenmueller and fiancee Shelia Beggs of Chaffee and Darrell (Amy) Dannenmueller of Chaffee; two daughters, Theresa (David) Siebert of Benton, Mo., and Deborah (Sean) Pierce of Jackson; a brother, Floyd Davis of Advance, Mo.; a sister, Winnie Kemp of Jackson; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She also was preceded in death by a grandson, Drexton Dannenmueller; three brothers; and three sisters.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with Pastor Doug Cherry officiating.
Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
