Dickerson, Donna (nee Cook)
Donna Dickerson, 56, of Jackson died Friday, April 21, 2006, at her home.
She was born Nov. 29, 1949, in Great Falls, Mont., daughter of Elmer and Lois Abernathy Cook. She and Daniel L. Dickerson were married Aug. 2, 1969, in Benton, Mo.
Dickerson was a 1967 graduate of Kelly High School in Benton, Mo. She was previously employed by Southeast Missouri Hospital and Famous Barr. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Millersville and formerly taught Sunday school.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Dana McDonald of Perry Hall, Md., Danette Bollinger of Jackson; a son, Derek Dickerson of Cape Girardeau; her parents, Lois Cook of Cape Girardeau and Elmer J. Cook of Benton; three brothers, Steve Cook of Virginia Beach, Va., Jonathan Cook of Lender, Texas, Michael Cook of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Barb Hopkins of Cape Girardeau, Amy Cook of Branson, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Monday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Daniel Hale officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery, near Morley, Mo., with the Rev. Raymond V. Epps officiating.
