Dirnberger, Dora C. (nee Martin)
CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Dora C. Dirnberger, 89, of Chaffee died Friday, April 25, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born July 25, 1918, at Blomeyer, Mo., daughter of August and Pauline Schwach Martin. She and Raymond Dirnberger were married March 5, 1946. He died June 10, 1955.
Dirnberger worked as a floor lady and retired from Florsheim Shoe Co. in Chaffee. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee, where she belonged to the Daughters of St. Ambrose.
Survivors include a son, Ron Dirnberger of Chaffee; a brother, Ben Martin of Chaffee; a sister, Amonell Welter of Oran, Mo.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a great- grandchild.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Parish rosary is at 7 p.m. today.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Ambrose, with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery in New Hamburg, Mo.
